We could know as early as next week whether any members of the College Station city council will face criminal charges over an alleged illegal meeting.
District Attorney Bill Turner says the investigation into the July 15th meeting is over. That's when the council decided in executive session to fire then-city manager Tom Brymer.
Brymer claimed his termination was illegal because the item had not been properly posted on the council agenda in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
