Investigators believe a Marquez bank robber is linked to a dozen other bank robberies in Central Texas.

On Wednesday, the man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank, in the small town of Marquez, in Leon County.

The Sheriff's Office says the man was armed with a handgun, and made off with a large sum of cash.

The FBI has released a photo of the suspect.

He's described as a 50 year old, white male, with a heavy build.

In the photo he has a gray beard, but investigators say it could be fake.

Its believed the robber has targeted other banks along I-35.

The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward.

Anyone with information can call crimestoppers at 512-472-8477, or the FBI at 512-345-1111.
