Christopher Scott Kazmierski, 34, of Bryan, was arrested late Tuesday night.

He was charged with online solicitation of a minor under 14, after police say he tried to meet who he thought was a 13-year-old girl, but was really a Bryan police officer.

Police say he instant messaged the officer using the name "bryantexasguy" and then changed his screen name to "Mike Hughes."

During the conversation, officers say Kazmierski said he knew the person he was chatting with, was 13. They say he later said he was in the chat room looking for sex.

After initiating a graphic conversation, arrest records show Kazmierski asked the person he was chatting with if she was disappointed that he couldn't touch her.

Police say Kazmierski continued to talk about being caught "like on those predator shows" and of "going to jail."

Kazmierski then told the undercover officer that he would bring condoms, and meet the teen at a gas station in half an hour. When Kazmierski showed up, Bryan police were waiting for him.

KBTX spoke to some of Kazmierski's Wheeler Ridge neighbors. They say the whole thing makes them sick.

"Its disgusting. It really bothers me actually, I have no tolerance for that kind of stuff, I don't think anybody else should," said one neighbor.

That's scary, that's really scary, because my daughter is 11 years old," said another neighbor.

Kazmierski is employed at Kristen Distributing. He has been suspended without pay since his arrest.

Wow.

It is Kristen Distributing, a beverage distributing company. I am currently employed by Kristen (see my comments below). To my knowledge there was only one other situation of this nature. Ironically, I was acquainted with that individual through golf as I did not work at Kristen at that time. According to a family member I spoke with, the allegation for which he was convicted was later recanted by the victim. Unfortunately, it was too little too late. As I stated below, Kristen supports several charities through sponsorhip of many events in the Brazos Valley. Additionally, appropriate action was taken as soon as the current situation came to light and the alleged perpetrator was suspended indefinitely without pay pending final disposition of his case. Please keep one thing in mind...employers cannot police their employees outside of work. However, they can hold them responsible for their actions once they become aware of them. My employer did just that.

How many people have been arrested from the same company in Bryan for sex with under age children? What type of Business is it?

Want to know if this trash lives in the Oaks? You can find out on line at www.familywatchdog.us Navigate through the site. I was surprised to find someone in Copperfield. You can see their name, residence, and where they work.

To Neighbor== Go build yourself a house with all of the stones you have accumulated. I don't have to answer to anyone but the Man above. The idiot was trying to contact a child. What is the matter with you. Send him to the "Big House"--- the inmates will take care of him. They don't have a problem casting the first stone like you do.

Does this trash live in the Oaks in Bryan?

Isn't it true that "birds of a feather flock together?" Check out the internet, Bryan is full "neighbors" like him.

Posted by: Justme Location: Bryan on May 20, 2008 at 07:42 AM
Geezzz,Anonymous , I cant believe that you insinuated that neighbor could be the other sex offender that lives on that street...... kinda slanderous dont you think??? ....Heres what you posted "Posted by: Anonymous on May 19, 2008 at 09:43 AM Maybe the "neighbor" is the other sex offender that lives on that street

Like many of you I was shocked and dismayed to hear about this. I know Chris through work. To say that noone at our company saw this coming would be an understatement. There was no indication that Chris possessed any inclination toward pedophilia. Is what he did wrong? YES. Does he deserve our condemnation? No, that is reserved for God. Does he deserve punishment for his transgression? Yes, and to some extent that has already started. Our court system will further that endeavor, and of course God will complete it. Perhaps prayers should be offered for all involved, including Chris. As for Kristen Distributing, I take exception to the question "What kind of company is this?". It happens to be a reputable company that employs a great number of people. It participates in various fund raising projects across the Brazos Valley in an effort to give back to the community. Its management has no control over what employees do in their off time. Thanks for your time and attention.

To neighbor: you just don't get it. If you had been molested as a child maybe you would understand our complete disgust with a guy like this. He deserves to be in prison for the rest of his life. Once molested, you are NEVER the same. I'm not judging... but I have been that child and I don't like the effects of what people like him have on children. As for me having to answer for my feelings about pedophiles, I think God will understand.

Posted by: Anonymous on May 19, 2008 at 06:01 PM
No doubt, he deserves everything coming his way. His family does not, but they will feel it none-the-less. I can't say enough good things about his family. I love Chris like a brother; but I have a daughter, I have no problem visiting him in jail. If he gets out and does it again, I have no problem attending his funeral.

Posted by: neighbor on May 19, 2008 at 02:09 PM
I NEVER said that what he did was ok.....I do NOT approve and he definitely needs help! I will be the last to judge. For those of you who are judging....you will have to answer for that one day.

Arrest more of this County trash. No probation needed. Keep the probation for murder Brazos jury away from this one. The may want to send him on a summer vacation to Hawaii. To thank things over and buy new condoms.

Want to know if predators are living in your neighborhood? Go to www.familywatchdog.us. Click on find offenders. You might be surprised to see how many live near you.

To "neighbor", I'm glad I don't have neighbors like you living in my neighborhood. Anyone that would go to bat for a child molester isn't any better than the molester in my book. I do not know the defendant and there is no way for me to prove it, but I would bet this isn't the first time he has done this. The judge and jury need to keep in mind that pedophiles are among those most likely to re-offend. If convicted, he needs to be put away forever.

Posted by: Anonymous on May 19, 2008 at 09:43 AM
Maybe the "neighbor" is the other sex offender that lives on that street...

Posted by: Anonymous on May 19, 2008 at 09:32 AM
I'm with you, Once a child. I was in the same boat as a child myself. Alot of times children will not tell on their molestors because they are scared or embarassed or both. There is a huge possibility this guy has done it before or at least touched a child for him to feel comfortable enough to actually meet one with condoms in his possession. While I know we are not to "judge", I can tell you from experience that he needs to be locked up and getting some help-BIG TIME! You don't decide overnight that you're going to be a pedophile and then morph back into Mr. Trustworthy. It just doesn't happen.

Posted by: Once a child Location: Bryan on May 18, 2008 at 05:44 PM
Neighbor - would you cast a stone if he met with YOUR child? I bet you would.

Posted by: Nobody on May 18, 2008 at 03:17 PM
Sorry, I meant "speaks" not "speeks". Contrary to what my post might say about me, I'm not completely illiterate.

Posted by: concerned mom Location: bryan on May 18, 2008 at 02:46 PM
Alot of kids live in his neighborhood, but what can we do, he is out on bond and who is protecting our children?

Posted by: Nobody Location: Bryan on May 18, 2008 at 01:08 PM
Neighbor - While your sentiment about those without sin casting the first stone is very nice, and very Christian, the fact that a 34 year old man had sexually explicit conversations with what he assumed to be a child opens him up to public condemnation. The fact that he not only had the conversation with "her", but that he SHOWED UP with condoms for the arranged meeting speeks volumes about his intentions. I say cast away.

Posted by: neighbor on May 18, 2008 at 12:17 PM
Like I said.....Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!

Posted by: Anonymous on May 18, 2008 at 11:27 AM
Just because Mr. K comes from a GOOD family doesn't change the fact that no "good" person would do what he was about to do. It is unfortunate and, no doubt, very embarrassing for them. How many times has he gotten away with meeting someone else's child before he got caught?? According to the media, he didn't waste anytime rushing out to meet the child after making the date. Where is he from? Why did he move here?

Posted by: Anonymous on May 18, 2008 at 11:16 AM
How do we know he never did this before? There is always the possiblity that YES, he HAS hurt someone before. ???? How many 13 year old girls live in his neighborhood alone, not to mention the ones he's touching on the internet????

Posted by: once a child Location: Bryan on May 18, 2008 at 07:48 AM
Having been on the receiving end of a molestation as a child, I have not mercy for someone like this. Yes, his family got hurt, but what if a REAL chld had been involved???? Think about that before giving this pervert a pass. He makes me sick.

Posted by: Billy Bob Location: Hearne on May 17, 2008 at 11:10 PM
Perhaps this is a lesson for those who judge books by their covers.....anyone is capable of anything at anytime...

Posted by: Elmer Williams Location: College Station on May 17, 2008 at 10:55 PM
I have no sympathy for anyone that would even think of harming a child. I don't know what this world is coming to, but there seems to be more and more of this. Perhaps it is time to increase the penalties for those that harm children. We should castrate them, cut off their "appendage", tattoo child molester on their foreheads and seem them to prison for the rest of their lives. It has been stated that the accused comes from a good family. Many criminals come from good families. If that is the case, his actions are no reflection on them. He acted alone as an individual. My thoughts and prayers are with the good families that have a bad apple in them as well as the victims of perverts that molest kids.

Posted by: Allen Location: Bryan on May 17, 2008 at 06:50 PM
No, this is NOT a son of Frank Kazmierski. PLEASE let's set that record straight.

Posted by: keljo Location: bryan on May 17, 2008 at 05:03 PM
Chris comes from a GOOD family. At least no one got hurt. His family is the only victim at this point. He can get the help that he needs and his family can put this behind them.

Posted by: Neighbor Location: bryan on May 17, 2008 at 03:50 PM
The Kazmierski’s that we have come to know and love are wonderful people. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone DAMN IT!

Posted by: Anonymous on May 17, 2008 at 02:58 PM
Maybe he should have been out working to support his wife in child.

Posted by: Bryan Location: CS on May 17, 2008 at 02:29 PM
WOW!!!! This is the third guy from Kristen Distributing to be caught doing something like this. What kind of company is this??

Posted by: Les Location: bryan on May 17, 2008 at 03:03 AM
OMG that guy is so ugly, he probably couldnt get him any! HES SICK IN THE HEAD!

Posted by: charles Location: bryan on May 17, 2008 at 01:40 AM
What the crap is going on? Again disgusting.

Posted by: aggiefan Location: bryan on May 17, 2008 at 01:03 AM
This story bothers me soo much. Nasty I hope he gets top punishment for what he did! people like that never change!

Posted by: Sick and tired of people Location: Bryan on May 16, 2008 at 11:13 PM
What in the world has the human-race become. It is quite disturbing to know that a neighbor next door can be a "scum bag". I say that once a scum bag is arrested, he or she should not be given a chance to bond out of jail. What stops them from doing the same criminal offense while out of jail. It is time to stiffen the penalty on these frieks of society.
