The newborn baby found dead at the Texas World Speedway earlier this month was born alive. That was confirmed in autopsy results released Tuesday.
A forensic pathologist in Conroe ruled Baby Joseph died of suffocation and neglect.
The boy was born full term before being left in a restroom trash can on October 10th.
More than 1,000 people had attended a motorcycle race that weekend at the racetrack.
Many of the participants and spectators had come from outside of Texas for the event.
Sheriff's investigators have no suspects at this time.
