Improvements are coming to Coulter Field in Bryan thanks to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Coulter Field received a $564,500 grant from the FAA for upgrades to the runway, taxiway and ramp.
The grant will cover 90 percent of the cost, while the city will pay for the remaining expenses.
Airport officials hope to begin the project in June. It should take about three months to complete.
