Hammering -- Hard hats and teamwork is what you'll find if you drive by 29th street.
It's their first week on the job and these teenagers are on a mission --to build a new house from the ground up -- in just one month.
Each year the Brazos Valley Affordable Housing Corporation teams up with Blinn College to give students the chance to make a difference.
The house that currently sits on cinderblocks in the parking lot on E 29th Street, will be moved, and sold, once the project is completed. At the end of the summer, the teens will become NCCER certified.
The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is a not-for-profit education foundation established by the nation’s leading construction companies.
