A Bryan teen is dead after an apparent dispute led to his stabbing.

Authorities say it happened about 12:30 a.m. Friday at The Oaks apartments off of FM 2818 on the west side of Bryan.

The victim, police say, 18-year-old Obije Lewis.

Authorities say Lewis had been in a spat with another man when he was then chased in that apartment complex. Police say he was stabbed at his family's front door.

Family members reportedly tried to revive him inside, but to no avail.

Authorities believe they know who committed the crime, and are searching for the person.

No description of the suspect was released by authorities, but if you have any information, call Bryan Police.

I used to live in the oaks and yes I must admit that it was alot of things going on over there. Mainly young people walking around at night. The time I was there e had car getting broke into and people sitting cars on fire and all I have to say is that the oaks is turning in to what was once beck street. It's time for the management to start doing applications the right way and not just letting money talk

IT'S HARD TO LOSE SOMEONE, BUT ESPECIALLY HARD TO LOSE PEOPLE AT YOUNG AGES. IT DOESN'T HURT FAMILY AND FRIENDS ANY MORE OR ANY LESS IF A PERSON DIES IN A CAR WRECK OR FROM A BOMBING. IT JUST HURTS. OBIJE, LOOKS LIKE YOU DID GET WET AST "GREG" COMMENTED. THE ACTIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE DO SOMETIMES DETERMINE THE FATE OF THE ACCUSED. SINCE WE WERE KIDS, WE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT TO TRUST IN THE POLICE B/C THEY ARE HERE TO PROTECT AND SERVE. SEEMS LIKE SOME OF THE OFFICERS IN BRYAN WERE PROTECTING THEIR STOMACHS WHILE THEY WERE GETTING SERVED DONUTS; ALL AT THE SAME TIME A MAN WAS FED UP WITH THREATS AGAINST HIS LIFE AND THE INABILITY TO GET HELP FROM THE POLICE. WHO DETERMINES THE URGENCY OF A SITUATION WHEN A 9-1-1 CALL IS PLACED. IS THAT NOT A CRY FOR HELP? SHAME ON THE DISPATCH WORKERS WHO FAILED TO ROUTE THE CALL PER POLICY. IF A PERSON HAS ENOUGH COURAGE TO ASK FOR HELP, SHOULDN'T IT BE GIVEN TO HIM. THE SITUATION SHOULD HAVE BEEN INVESTIGATED. MAYBE THIS IS WHAT THE COPS HOPED FOR

Amazing how these comments evolved from the original story to a flood of opinions about the "system". I think we all know the tragedy of loss and I feel for the family. My feelings for those that die or get hurt in the course of doing illegal or immoral activities is obvious. If you walk out in the rain, don't be surprised that you got wet!! These stories generate alot of resonse, and that is only because we care. This is a hot topic, not so much about the original story of loss, but of the possible reason why. Can we protect us from ourselves? I don't know. To the family and friends of Obije, my heart goes out to you. To Obije, sorry this happened, but you got "wet".

The c-store in the oaks has been armed robbed many times. That is why you see the employees behind the bullet proof glass. The all ran into the oaks after the robbery. The store has a video system.

In response to Sarah @ the Oaks. If you are who I think you are. You are crazy. You complain insessantly about everything. Your afraid of your own shadow. And you want to talk about dangerous dogs, lets talk about yours. Yours has tried lunging and biting me on two occassions. You talk about the drug dealers, I haven't seen any. And you talk about how all of the residents who live there are criminals, well I can tell that I am not. I have never been in trouble with the law. And I have never seen anyone with a gun. How do you know all of this? I think you are crazy and I think that you do imagine 99% of things that you have stated. You cause nothing but trouble and if it's so bad then why haven't you left yet? Maybe your the one that we should be afraid of. This was an isolated incident and has nothing to do what you are complaing about. You need to pray to the Lord and while you are at pray for the families of these two men.

to DUMB FOUNDED, it might changed the crime rate this may let all those wanna be fake gangstas know that life is real and ain't no game, you can't go around threating a man, pull a gun in his face, and think they will not defend themselves. People go to work everyday, and work hard they don't have time for no damn threats. as far as his parents telling him they love him, they should have showed him love, if they loved him they wouldn't have let him be out in the streets at 12:30 in the night. no parent should let their child be out at that time of night. sorry they lost a child, but he threatened and threatened Harris everyday for at least 10 days.

It is really sad to see the comments of some of the most cold hearted bunch of people I ever seen in my life...I guess you and everyone in your families are complete angels...May God blessed your heart and I pray that you never have to lose anyone like this.

Let's urine test all recipients of government assistance, might just cut eligibility in half, ya think? Can't pay for healthcare or food, but have expensive cars and can buy drugs. What a shame.

100% on the Money JOHN. If any Bryan Ghetto welfare trash make a move on My Family I am ready. I am getting to old to work. Every day I go to work I think about if anyone will be breaking into my house today. I been a crime victim in Bryan. I have assault weapons and ammo and my family is trained and ready to fire this time. I also see some Bryan citizens in the gun stores in CS doing the same thing. I will not be a New Orleans Type Crime victim in Texas. If Bryan Trash will kill over a radio they will kill you for food and gas. If you think the Government will care for you, look at FEMA. I will tell you that ghetto welfare people fire guns at FEMA workers did not help with the clean up. I hear alot of gun fire in Bryan at night.

I HOPE CRIME DOES NOT INCREASE. BUT, I'M WORRIED THAT WITH EVER INCREASING PRESSURES ON BOTH THE HAVES AND HAVE-NOTS FROM HIGHER FUEL AND FOOD PRICES, THE HAVE-NOTS WILL HAVE TO START BECOMING CRIMINALS AND TAKING FROM THE HAVES.

Look on the bright side. The crime rate statistics for the city of Bryan will be a little lower next year with these two gone.

Bryan and it high crime rate are out of control. This type of crime is not new to Bryan. We had Approx 7 murders on 2006.

Another senseless death has occurred;two families have been affected in a terrible way.can anybody see that it's time to fall on our faces and pray?you may not want to hear it,but people we are living in the very last days.we are going to see some terrible things happen around us.we must turn our faces to GOD.HE is the only hope we have.people have no self control.they are hotheaded, and foolish. There is no fear of GOD anymore.the bible says that these things would come;that men would wax worse and worse.prayer is the answer.discussing welfare, etc.doesn't solve anything.if you want to make a difference, get on your face, and pray.PUSH!!!PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS.!!!

Only the fit survive. What happened was natures way of removing a weak individual from the gene pool. A very weak, ignorant person risks his life for a radio. If nature allowed individuals such as this one to continue to exist, society would collapse. Obviously, the deceased was a consumer as opposed to a producer. We are fortunate that one of the participants in this game of primitive warfare will no longer be allowed to pollute the gene pool. It sure would be nice if the second participant was incarcerated for the remainder of his years. I love stories like this one. There is hope for the world after all.

I couldn't care less that this criminal died. Brazos county would be a much better place to live if we had a little of this every night. Before long all the thugs would be dead and those of us that work hard and pay taxes so they can have welfare would live happily ever after.

Please except my condolences for the loss of your son. I don't care what the reason no parent should loose a child. All so please tell me this is not what our summer is going to be like. Teens being killed for no reason like a Radio. This is just wrong. You can go and get another you can't go and get that teen after he or she is dead. PLEASE EVERY ONE THINK ABOUT THAT WHEN DOING STUPID THINGS THIS SUMMER. DRINKING AND DRIVING AND SO ON. BECARE FUL AND GOD BLESS ALL. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY THAT LOST THEIR SON.

If "good boy" Obije hadn't been ripping off Harris, he'd probably be alive today. And the DA's going to have a hard time getting a murder conviction here as well, since burglary victims are allowed to use deadly force at night...

The Oaks are no different than any other place in the twins cities there are both good and bad. However a teen lost his life and regardless of whether his family was on welfare or not a kind and heartfelt pray is what should be sent out.

I see Washington D.C. Police are now putting up Military type road blocks to fight crime. Reported by Washington Post. Maybe we need to look into it for CS. Since Bryan has a Higher rate of crime per capita in 3 of 7 areas of crime the FBI uses to gauge crime. Bryan is higher in Larceny theft, rapes, 2 times higher in Burglary and is almost in a tie in AGG. Assaults. Aka attempted murder are action likely to cause Death are serious injury. Bryan is very close to having a higher rate in 4 of 7 spots. Higher then D.C.. I used D.C as a comparison because of the steps used to fight crime and I was not able to find a city near Bryan even in the same ball park in high crime.<<>> Also Texas DPS Web-site crime statistics. These senseless murders and crimes need to be stopped in Bryan before Bryan has a higher rate of murder then D.C one of the Highest in the US.

my sincere prayers to the family of the deceased, and the family of the perpetrator.this is such a senseless loss. people no longer value human life.killing is not a solution to any situation.for those of you who are believers, you know that this is the work of the evil one.we must teach our children, and communities that GOD is the giver of life, that he has a plan for each of us,and that plan is not that we should destroy each other.let's teach our young people values, and morals so that vicious cycle of violence can end. this is especially rampant in the black community.as a people,we must take back our communities, our sons, and daughters from the street, thug life so many are embracing.this has nothing to do with who is on welfare,or govt.asst.there are all races recieving asst.this is about a bunch of nonsense.lets' all try to instill in the youth around us hope, and show them that they don't have to live,or die this way.

RIP Objie. I am sorry that our world is like it is and you lost your life so young. Lakeisha and others have stated it correctly. The life style of those that live like this is very predictable. I also am tired of being taxed so much so those who REFUSE to work can have better stuff than my kids had. I have a mentally disabled daughter and even SHE can work. I don't know how people can take advantage of others and stay on welfare when they could be working like the rest of us. Shame on them, but unfortunately, most of them won't be reading these postings. One more thing, Susan, you are right. Some of these postings are almost impossible to read due to spelling and grammar. No wonder kids can not pass the TAKS.

Lakeisha, this story is about a murder that took place, not the welfare business, so what's your point??? And for the record, the rich and famous are the doing the same thing as the poor and ebonic users (as you lable them), killing, so again, what's your point?

Wow Lakeisha! That is scary! Thank you so much for having the courage to come forward and share your experience with the tax payers that support this garbage. People like you should testify before the state legislature and before congress in Washington. I agree with you. It is time to stop this nonsense. People that are too ignorant to be self sufficient should loose all welfare, food stamps and HUD when they get pregnant.

Posted by: Nobody Location: Bryan on Jun 6, 2008 at 06:09 PM
Lakeisha, should you not keep your fingers still and not make such a comment? It is not your job to judge, approve of or disapprove of the applicants, but to simply process their applications. If you suspect fraud, then you should report it per your guidelines. And if you really do work there, you are out of line saying the things that you just did. You should find another job working with people whom you do not view with such disdain.

My heart goes out to the family. I lost a brother several years ago by a violent crime inside his own home and know the hurt that this family is going through. My prayers for strength and peace are with the family. This is a tragedy and should never have happened. This world stinks sometimes. Remember Phillipians 4:19 "And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus." God Bless You.

Posted by: Anonymous on Jun 6, 2008 at 06:00 PM
All of you who are trying to put others down need to find something better to do. A young man has lost his life and a family has lost their child and all you can talk about is who is on welfare and how horrible they are. You don't know anything about these two families so why assume that they are welfare recipients is it because the individuals involved are black. If so you really need to wake up. Welfare is received by a lot more than just African-Americans. Why not respect the families and keep the negative comments to yourself. God bless this family and I pray that God will sooth their pain.

Posted by: Lakeisha Location: DHS on Jun 6, 2008 at 05:43 PM
I worked for the Department of Human services for many years. I speak from experience when I tell you the majority of people that receive public housing, Lone Star cards, etc. etc. are not the least bit grateful. They think you owe it to them. They mock you and call their check "Fed Bread". Many of these people work odd jobs such as baby sitting, caring for the elderly, dealing drugs and detailing cars in order to stay under the radar of the IRS. A very substantial number of the applicants can not even speak a word of English! The ones that can speak English often sprinkle it with 4 letter vulgarities and Ebonics. Yes, on very rare occasions you see a widow that really does need a little help. The most common scenario however, is a 19 year old with 4 undisciplined, snotty nose, kids that were fathered by 4 different "baby daddies". Typically, two of the "baby daddies" will be in prison and the other two will be either on parole or in the county jail. It is time to stop this nonsense.

REST IN PEACE OBJIE LEWIS Susan this is a serious issue and all you can focus on is grammer and spelling. you should be focused on the life that was lost. there are too many young kids today having their taking away over nonsense. my prayers are with obije as well as his family.

I''VE BEEN PREACHING SINCE HURRICANE KATRINA THAT PEOPLE SHOULD START LEARNING TO GROW AND CAN YOUR OWN FOOD. I DO,..AND HAVE BEEN, SINCE BEFORE THOSE THIRD AND FORTH GENERATION NEW ORLEANS WELFARE-DREGS RIOTED OVER NOT HAVING FOOD. I can't believe some of the comments that I am reading here! A person lost his life and all you people care to talk about is how poor he was and that the "welfare recipient-types" are the ones that are committing most of the crimes. How about a little compassion for the family that lost someone they loved. They could be reading this for crying out loud! WHAT IS WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS!!! We have no regard for one another, where are your morals people? Since we cannot seem to discuss the topic at hand let me just say this; I am 24 years old and a single mother I work full time everyday to make sure that all of my daughters needs are met. I am on housing, and I also recieve other government assistance...I have no criminal background what so ever! So all of you that compare people that are hard working like myself that need a helping hand every now and then to this scum that took this persons life are just full of yourselves. Seriously, grow up!

Posted by: TO ALL on Jun 6, 2008 at 02:53 PM
I myself am on assistance at this current time me and my husband were married and had two children we later got divorced and I was forced to apply for housing and food stamps I had never worked a day in my married life I was always the one to look down upon individuals on assistance but due to my circumstances I am now one to have such. What I DO believe is wrong is the certain people on assistance that do not want to get up and get a job like GREG stated it is frustrating when you have an acceptable car but you look around and see the individuals on welfare assistance in 08' chryslers with 26" rims living in the ghetto and it is frustrating for tax payers who pay their taxes to support someones lavish living expenses I do believe the system is to help one get on their feet and then eventually come off of assistance and lead a normal productive life. Not all people on assistance are bad people some are needy at times. GOD BLESS THIS YOUNG BOYS FAMILY AND MAY GOD WELCOME HIM INTO HEAVEN.

Looks like Bryan also needs a police sub station on the west side. Is this the 2nd murder in a few months in Bryan?

Posted by: Jill Location: Bryan on Jun 6, 2008 at 02:10 PM
Susan is right. People that live off the tax payers were too lazy to study in school. Now they are too lazy to work. Sure, people hit bumps as they travel down the road of life. I am referring to the able bodied lazy, worthless, welfare recipients that have been receiving government benefits for years. If you are on welfare for more than a few months and are able bodied it is because you have made a series of bad choices in your life. It is not my responsibility, or any other working taxpayers for that matter, to bail your ignorant tail out. I would encourage everyone to write their elected representation and demand that legislation to abolish all welfare benefits be introduced immediately. They cry that they can't find a job. BS! The nationwide unemployment rate is 5.5%. In Texas it is closer to 3.5%. This is far better than the 25% rate of the 1930's or the 12% that Carter brought us in the late 70's. Can't find a job? Go to the Army recruiting office. I hear they are hiring. Lazy Scum!

Posted by: Amy on Jun 6, 2008 at 02:02 PM
Susan, might I remind you that this article is about someone that was brutally murdered. It has nothing to do with how well people spell or what their grammar is like! I can't stand people like you and "Alex" that think that you are obviously better then everyone else. Why don't you show some respect and maybe post a comment about how terrible this tragedy is and show a little compassion...shheeeesh!

Posted by: lisa Location: CS on Jun 6, 2008 at 02:00 PM
THIS IS TO SUSAN YOU NEED TO THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WROTE YOU DIDNT ACKNOWLLEDEG THE YOUNG MAN THAT GOT STABBED NOR DID YOU WISH THE FAMILY WELL . THIS ISNT A GRAMMER TEST NOR A SPELLING BEE HAVE RESPECT FOR THE YOUNG MAN AND TRY TO KEEP THE NEGATIVITY TO A MINUMUM. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE THING THAT HAPPENED AND IT COULD HAVE BEEN SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU .PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO MAKE FUN AND PASS JUDGEMENT BRING THE COMMUNITY DOWN INSTEAD OF BUILDING IT UP

Posted by: greg on Jun 6, 2008 at 01:58 PM
Well it is no secret that more violent crime and drug activity is found in the low income areas or government assisted living communities. Why is that? I'll tell you why. It has nothing to do with race, it is culture. Many folks living in "housing" were raised in "housing". It is generational. So is the drug life style. If we can't somehow get a positive influence to these folks children, they too will sell drugs or get pregnant a little too early and live in housing. It is amazing that the management in these places allow people that are not on the lease to live there, you know the folks who stay with their baby's mama... or come stay with their Auntie.. I think it would be a fair and eventually welcomed practice to be a little stricter on who lives there and who comes and goes. Another thing that brings a thought to mind.. I make over $40,000 a year and can't afford 22" wheels for my Lexus (if I had one), but the jobless fella has it all. Of course they stay on assistance.

Posted by: BRYAN Location: BRYAN on Jun 6, 2008 at 01:58 PM
To Susan. Wow it's amazing how you have nothing to say about the life that's lost. All you seem to think about is tax payers money. I'm also a tax payer and that has nothing to do with the crime that has happened. A young man life was lost and these comments are crazy. A life was lost and that should be the main focus. My prayers go out to the family and I hope that all these comments on how people live and being on welfare affected you in any way. Susan, Alex, grow up!! take a look around the worls this happens everyday!!

Posted by: navasota Location: navasota on Jun 6, 2008 at 01:48 PM
Alex, you cant blame a crime on the way people are living. If thats the case, why are majority of the bombers and serial killers from the suburbs??? I guess if you have money you dont have time to di that. This is about a child who has died not b/c of the goverment, but the carelessness of another individual, it could have easily been a member of your family if caught at the wrong time. DONT STEREOTYPE!!!

Posted by: JANE Location: TEXAS on Jun 6, 2008 at 12:55 PM
THIS IS A TRAGIC EVENT FOR BOTH FAMILIES, NOT JUST THE VICTIM. WHAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE STABBING? LET'S FOCUS ON THAT. NO ONE REALLY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED. SO AT THIS POINT, LET'S NOT BE CRUEL TO THE SUSPECT. IT'S TRUE THAT BOTH MEN HAVE A RECORD, DID YOU MISS THAT ABOUT THE VICTIM ON THE NEWS? A LOSS IS A LOSS NO MATTER WHO SUFFERS IT. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO BOTH FAMILIES.

Posted by: The Conservative Right Location: Not in the HUD Projects on Jun 6, 2008 at 12:54 PM
Alex you are correct. All these idealistic, politically correct, liberals can pretend all day long that welfare recipients are involved in less violent crime, but the facts tell us otherwise. We don't hear about violent crime occurring in areas such as Pebble Creek and Emerald Forrest. I would bet my life savings you would be very hard pressed to find a resident of either area that receives a welfare check or a Lonestar card. The residents of those areas, like all working middle class areas, have a very large portion of their income forcibly taken from them by the government in order to redistribute it to trash that spits out babies they can not afford to support. I am very sorry this young man lost his life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. My comments should not in any way be construed to insinuate either the victim or perpetrator of this crime was a welfare recipient. Although, If I was a betting woman I would place my money on both being given tax payer money

Posted by: Susan Location: Bryan on Jun 6, 2008 at 12:41 PM
I am reading these post and shocked at the grammar and spelling that is used! Is it any wonder why some people live off tax payers? - Who would want to hire them? - they can not spell or speak well!

My heart goes out to the family, it is so sad to see a life taken by another human. To Alex, I and probably many others are offended by your comment on welfare recipient types, what exactly is that supposed to mean anyway. I myself have been on public assistance in the past, due to no other reason than needing help at the time. I don't think being on welfare automatically makes someone a criminal. I and many others have never broken the law and am a hard working citizen who just needed a helping hand. You should be ashamed of yourself for automatically assuming that everyone who recieves assistance is a bad person. I just pray that you don't someday find yourself to be one of the perople that falls on such hard times that you need that kind of help, because according to you, you would then become a criminal.

Everyone over there are not drug dealers. I have a friend who stays over there and I go over there sometimes and never have had a problem while visiting my friend. So if you are having problems while being in that apartment complex either move or don't visit if it makes you that uncomfortable.

I THINK THAT YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT THAT ALEX, I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE APARTMENT COMPLEX IS A GOOD PLACE OR A BAD PLACE. I HAVE NEVER LIVED THERE BECAUSE OF THE STORIES THAT I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THE APARTMENT COMPLEX, BUT JUST BECAUSE THAT THEY PEOPLET THAT RESIDE THERE WAS ON WELFARE DOESN'T MEAN THAT IS THE REASON WHY THE APARTMENT COMPLEX IS TERRIBLE, OR THE REASON WHY BAD THINGS HAPPENS THERE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE ON WELFARE TO BE A BAD PERSON. IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON THAT MAKES THE PLACE A TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. NO THE WELFARE THAT THEY ARE ON.

We used to live there and I would recommend that anyone with a family NOT live there as it is NOT a safe place to live. Anyone who has lived there before could have told you something like this would happen eventually.

It is No surprise The C-store next to oaks was armed robbed 3x in one month sometimes in the day light at 11:40am. No news report on it. The store employee are now in a bullet proof area. The FBI Crime rate for Bryan places us at one of the highest rates in Texas. I was told by Bryan police a few years back that we have the highest per capita welfare housing in the state now. With the things going on in Bryan. You are not safe In CS also. It is true the FBI crime rate place CS below the state AVG. But CS is to close to Bryan. This is a Horrible and it has happened to many times in Bryan.

yes this is a tragedy for the family of the young man and i send them my prays and condulence but this could have happened anywhere to any faimly its just the way people are these days no one cares to help what people in areas that are low poverty all they want to do is talk about them . Mabe the police needs to have a neighborrhood watch system going on over there they do every where else and mabe that will help keep crime rates down or mabe not

Sad sad world! People get to upset of the most rediculous things and they think stabbing someone is solution. This doesn't surprize me. There are so many parts of Bryan that have unfortunately turned into this type of area full of drugs and violence. Bryan needs to clean up their city!

Sad this has happened but if you live this way, then you die this way. Come checkout north Bryan it's getting as bad if not worse - call the police? yeah man.

I don't think it has anything to do with or how you receive your household income. These types of things can happen anywhere to anyone at any time. And this is not what needs to be focus upon. It is most important to focus on the safety of anyone irregardless of where you live. Your thoughts need to go the family of this young man, who's life that ended so quickly. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

My heart goes out to this young man and his family. I have had a loved one murdered (a brother) and I can truly tell you that the pain will forever remain in your heart. In response to Sarah's comment,no not all of the people that live there are criminals. I have associates that live there and moved there just to be closer to work due to the high gas prices. If the staff was unprofessional or rude to you when you tried to talk to them, I would have asked for the owner's information and made a report. As a community, let's embrace this family and keep them in our prayers.

This is horrible - I have tried to speak to management there numerous times about the drug dealers and being bullied just trying to get to the car. All I got was attitude and basically told I was imagining things. It's REAL - the people who reside there are all criminals and no one seems to care. Drugs, vicious dogs, guns, and a staff that is just as bad. DON'T LIVE THERE!

I want to respond to message from alex. The comment you made was a little racial. There are alot of people who have killed and they were not on welfare. That has nothing to do with the crime. Take a look around the world and see whats going on.

This is very tragic, my thoughts and prayers are with the family. I hope they catch the person responsible for this. Alex with all do respect, why do you automatically assume that people that are on welfare are the ones who cause problems? There is a word for that it's called "stereotyping"! You should not be so judgmental.

Posted by: amazed Location: texas on Jun 6, 2008 at 08:49 AM
its amazing alex that you would think just because there are welfare recipients that they are the ones causing any and every problem in the area. try to expand your mind just a little.....

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Navasota on Jun 6, 2008 at 08:33 AM
Well that's just horrific. However, Alex; welfare recipients aren't the only ones that causes problems.

Posted by: Alex Location: Bryan on Jun 6, 2008 at 07:57 AM
Wow - I used to live there. At the time in the early 90's, it was fairly quaint. There were a handful of welfare recipient-types and if there were ever problems it came from them.
