New Schools Get New Names

Video will be available shortly

Two of Bryan's new schools have new names.

The new Bryan High School will be named after James Earl Rudder, Texas A&M's former president.

The fourth middle school for the city will be named after Arthur Davila, the first Hispanic to be named to the Bryan school board.

Board policy mandates that new schools be named after deceased and distinguished Texans.

Also Monday night, the board approved the preliminary designs for the middle school. Back on October 31, they approved the high school's first design plans.
