WATCHES AND WARNINGS

Signs, Signs, Everywhere are Signs?

Video will be available shortly

At the intergovernmental meeting Monday night, local leaders saw plans on what you eventually might see on local streets.

The Corbin Design company presented its vision for designs to guide visitors and residents around the Twin Cities and Texas A&M. If agreed to, the cost would total into the hundreds of thousands of dollars range.

The signs would have a general design, but be distinctive for each area.

"Very often, people have their own agendas and make things the way they want them, but I've seen a lot of cooperation tonight," said Corbin Design founder Jeff Corbin. "I've seen a lot of cooperation in our meetings with the committee. That bodes well for the ability of this area to put together something like this."

Corbin has designed signs for cities like Los Angeles and Kansas City, and for large campuses like Penn State.
