A Bryan man died while swimming at Lake Bryan.

It happened Saturday afternoon about 3:40p.m. while spending time with family.

Family members told police they had not seen him Johnny Wayne Howard, 29, in about a half hour, and that's when they called for help.

Howard was pulled from Lake Bryan, given CPR on site, but he was pronounced dead at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
