CRAWFORD, Texas -- Cindy Sheehan and other Iraq war protesters plan to dedicate a memorial garden Friday at the Crawford Peace House, near President Bush's ranch.
Sheehan joined other anti-war activists Thursday for a holiday vigil through Saturday near the Central Texas ranch where the president is spending the holiday weekend.
Sheehan's the mother of a fallen US soldier in Iraq. She made a 26-day August vigil at a roadside campsite near the Bush ranch. She returned to the area Thursday night.
She vows to "keep pressing" until US troops "are brought
home." Thursday, more than 100 protesters gathered at a roadside
campsite about a mile from Bush's ranch. They skipped the traditional Thanksgiving fare and ate Iraqi food.
