A Dallas-area woman is dead after a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Madison County.
It happened on Texas 21 on the Navasota River Bridge just before 2 p.m.
Department of Public Safety officials say Terrance Bizor, 18, of Cedar Hill, fell asleep at the wheel, awoke, and overcorrected, sending his car into a side-skid.
The car hit an on-coming vehicle and crashed into the guardrail.
Donna Bizor, 48, was life-flighted from the scene. She was later pronounced dead at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
Terrance Bizor, Joshua McCoy, 18, and Terry Bizor, 48, are in St. Joseph with non-incapacitating injuries.
All were in the vehicle that hit the guardrail, and all were wearing their seatbelts.
The other driver, David Murray of Caldwell, was not injured.
The accident backed up traffic on Texas 21 for more than two miles in both directions.
