Burglars Steal Thousands in Livestock Medicine

Bryan Police are investigating what sounds like an odd burglary.

Someone broke into Producer's Co-op Saturday night and stole an estimated two thousand dollars worth of Ivomec.

Ivomec is an anti-parasitic treatment given to livestock.

Police say they're not sure why someone would want to steal the drugs.

Experts say any attempt to use it on smaller animals, such as dogs, could kill the animal.
