A frozen road is to blame for an early morning accident that killed an elderly Bryan woman.
It happened just after 1:30 Wednesday morning on Highway six, east of Milican.
According to the Department of Public Safety, a College Station woman was driving north on Highway six, when she hit a patch of ice, lost control of her car and hit a concrete divider. The vehicle then flipped several times.
One of the passengers, Willie Lee Tarver, 80, died shortly after the crash. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver, Joyce Davis, 66, and another passenger, Jonnie Ludd, 69, are in stable condition at The College Station Medical Center.
