Funnel Clouds Reported Near Galveston; Severe Storms in the Brazos Valley
Several funnel clouds were reported across southern Harris and Galevston county Tuesday afternoon. Severe weather was also reported across the eastern portions of the Brazos Valley.

Several funnel clouds were reported across southern Harris and Galevston county Tuesday afternoon.

National Weather Service meteorologists reported funnel clouds near NASA's Johnson Space Center and League City. A water spout was also reported by emergency management in Kemah.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for Montgomery, San Jacinto and Walker county as strong storms moved across Conroe, New Waverly and Lake Livingston producing heavy rain, frequent lightning and hail. Lightning also struck a home near the Woodlands, according to Houston media reports.

Widely scattered thunderstorms will remain possible Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons in a warm and humid airmass over the Brazos Valley.

There was also severe weather in Grimes County as well today Tuesday afternoon!
