The owner of the dogs that mauled a Thorndale woman to death has been ticketed. Jose Hernandez is charged with six counts of failure to vaccinate his dogs, which is a Class C misdemeanor.
On November 26, Lillian Stiles, 76, was mauled to death by a pack of rottweiler pitbulls as she was mowing her lawn.
The owner faces no other charges. In Texas, there is no law making owners responsible for crimes committed by their animals.
