The city of Bryan is asking residents to forgo washing their dishes and their clothes for 24 hours starting tomorrow.
Bryan homes and businesses are urged to voluntarily restrict water usage from 7 a.m. Thursday through 7 a.m. Friday to allow crews to complete installation of a major water transmission line.
The city says it's during this final construction phase transmitting water from the city's source to residents will be greatly impacted.
They are also asking residents to avoid outdoor watering and washing vehicles.
Excessive water usage could disrupt service or compromise firefighting capabilities.
