A former Bremond ISD employee indicted on theft charges has died.
Sandra Nolan, 47, died on Monday after a battle with cancer.
The district's former business manager was accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the district in a September 2005 indictment.
Former Superintendent Ken Johnson faces faces charges allegedly for misusing more than $200,000.
In the indictment, Johnson is accused of using a district credit card for personal use, including for trips and expensive jewelry.
Johnson's son was also indicted in the case.
Funeral services for Nolan are Thursday at 1pm at Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne.
