Gas Prices Up in Texas, U.S.

A busy Christmas travel week is underway and gas prices are up both in Texas and across the country.

The latest Lundberg Survey of gas stations nationwide shows the average prices nationwide is $2.24.

The cheapest gas is a $1.98 a gallon in Salt Lake City.

The most expensive is in Honolulu at $2.57 a gallon.

In Texas, the average price per gallon is $2.14.

The cheapest place to buy gas is in Corpus Christi at about $2.07 a gallon.

Dallas has the most expensive at about $2.17 per gallon.
