Caldwell residents had some panic-filled moments Saturday as they lost power.
City officials tell News 3 a bad connector was to blame for a power outage that affected a small portion of the city.
The lights went out about 1 p.m., but were back on in about an hour.
The sheriff's department says the reason why there was some panic is because some of the affected residents were doing some Christmas cooking about the time the power went out.
