There has been more violence on the west side of Bryan. An alleged drive-by attempt on Beck Street Saturday is the second shooting this week on that road.
College Station police stopped 20-year-old Joseph Sanchez and 21-year-old Wenceslado Padilla Junior about 10 minutes after they allegedly drove down the 12-hundred block of Beck firing. Residents reported the shooting to Bryan Police around 3:30. The suspects were picked up on George Bush Drive West by CSPD ten minutes later.
Authorities are investigating whether there is a connection to Tuesday's shooting in that same block. No one has been arrested in what Bryan Police say was a gang-related incident. 24-year-old Alva Agundez was shot in the head and killed when a large shootout broke out between a pair of arguing groups.
In Saturday's incident, Sanchez and Padilla face first degree felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
