A former Aggie football player has been ticketed for setting off last month's traffic-jamming pileup on Highway 6.
Authorities say Cody Scates was behind the wheel of the SUV that triggered the chain reaction accident on December 22nd. He's been ticketed for failure to control speed and making an unsafe lane change.
Scates' 4-Runner, an 18-wheeler and two other vehicles were involved. Scates' wife suffered a head injury, but none of the other motorists was seriously hurt.
The wreck shutdown traffic on Highway 6 for several hours.
