Expect delays at a major College Station intersection starting Monday, January 23.
Texas Department of Transportation work crews will partially close Southwest Parkway at Texas Avenue.
Westbound traffic will have two lanes, but only one eastbound lane headed toward Texas 6 will be open.
This is the first of two partial closures at the intersection. This phase one should last about seven days.
It's all part of the Texas Avenue widening project.
This is the same work scheduled for last week, but bad weather caused TxDOT to push back the project.
