It was a deadly day on Brazos Valley roads Sunday as two people were killed in unrelated accidents.
The first happened early Sunday morning in Bryan on Texas 47, killing one man and injuring two others.
It happened about 2:50 a.m. just south of A&M's Riverside Campus.
DPS says Brian Joseph Edwards, 22, was northbound on Texas 47 near Silver Hill Road when he lost control of his Ford pickup.
The truck went into the median and overturned several times before coming to rest in the southbound lanes.
Kyle Hohmann, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.
William Henry Oestreich, 21, was in fair condition. Edwards was critical.
All three are college students and originally from the Llano area.
None was wearing a seatbelt.
The second accident happened Sunday afternoon in south Brazos County, caused by slick conditions.
It happened about 1:20 p.m. near the intersection of Texas 6 and F.M. 159.
Authorities say a Waco man was northbound on Texas 6 when he lost control of his pickup truck and hydroplaned into the southbound lanes.
A southbound suburban broadsided the pickup. And a third vehicle hit both the suburban and the pickup.
Charles Joseph Rose, 46, of Waco later died at College Station Medical Center.
Lawyer Foster, 26, of Hearne and Regina Cambiano, 57, of Santa Fe are both in stable condition at the Med.
All three were wearing their seatbelts.
