African American National Heritage Society Banquet

The 5th annual Reunion and Appreciation Banquet for the African American National Heritage Society was held Thursday night.

The event took place at the College Station Hilton and honored outstanding supporters of the Brazos Valley African American Museum, which the Heritage Society is building.

28 honorees were recognized, including KBTX General Manger, Mike Wright and Anchor, Crystal Galny.

Mell and Willie Pruitt founded the Brazos Valley African American Museum located at 500 East 20th Street in Bryan. It is expected to open in the Spring. They thanked everyone for their generous donations and support.
