CS Chooses Final Five for City Manager

College Station is one step closer to finding a new city manager. Thursday evening, the city council announced the five finalists for the position.

The list includes Interim City Manager Glenn Brown, who took over after Tom Brymer's resignation.

Also being considered:

-James Antonen, city manager in Davis, California
-William Eisen, city manager in Pearland, TX
-Steven Thompson, assistant city manager in Virginia Beach, VA
-Richard Torres, assistant city manager in Richland Hills, TX

The firm hired by the city will run additional background checks, and the council will revisit the candidates at their last council meeting of February.
