A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for Milam, Robertson, Lee, and Leon Counties from 12am to 12pm THURSDAY. After a strong afternoon cold front, brisk north winds -- 20-25mph -- will continue to drop temperature to / just above a freeze tonight. A rain chance could turn into a scattered, wintry mix between 6am and 10am Thursday. Little-to-no accumulation is expected -- however, caution is urged driving on bridges and overpasses.
She's already a volunteer virtuoso in Bryan College Station.
And Monday, she'll become a Point of Light for our country.
She's Ruth Clearfield, and if you've worked on any community project, you've probably crossed her path.
Mrs. Clearfield has served with many organizations, but it's her work with the United Way of the Brazos Valley that's earned her this latest honor.
Ruth will receive her Point of Light from Former President Bush Monday at the library bearing the former president's name.
