TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A judge in Washington State is apologizing
for leading a cheer for the Seattle Seahawks before a sentencing
hearing. Judge Beverly Grant says she was just trying to ease
tensions Friday when she asked everyone to say "Go Seahawks"
before the manslaughter hearing began. Super Bowl Sunday turned out
to be the first anniversary of the slaying.
