Brazos County commissioners have reinstated the burn ban.
Last week, the ban was lifted because of sufficient rain and the need to burn trash, but due to changing conditions, commissioners agreed to put it back into affect.
Volunteer firefighters at that first meeting urged the commissioners to continue the ban.
The burn ban is set to last until March 6 unless commissioners fell it should be lifted again.
