A tense afternoon stand-off in Bryan ended without incident. Police say a man, who's name has not been released, refused to get out of his car parked outside the Bryan Women's Prison facility.
After the man showed no signs of budging, Bryan SWAT and negotiation teams were called to the scene. The man finally surrendered peaceably and was taken to St. Joseph for evaluation.
Police say no threats were made, and the man didn't have a weapon. They believe he may have been emotionally distraught.
No charges have been filed at this time.
