ok, Luther street is not only 4/10 of a mile...keep driving honey it's longer and it gets better as you go..then you will see who really needs to get off welfare and get a job! funny that everyone thinks the thugs and criminals live in bryan. has no one noticed that all the child molesters live in College Station? go back and do some research and see for your self.

Anyone found these people yet?

Posted by: debbie Location: bcs on Jul 8, 2008 at 03:31 PM
This is ridiculous. Grow up!

Posted by: Anonymous on Jul 8, 2008 at 02:26 PM
DB you need to drive Luther streets it is only abou4/10 of a mile long. New homes that are not HUD. No trash blowing around. No homes that have falling down and no one cleaned up. MLK,Sims and beck go on for miles with trash and people standing around drinking. In Over grown grounds etc. It is still a mini Bryan of crime that is in CS with code enforcement doing a job unlike Bryan.

What happened to "community"?

Posted by: Jeff Location: Dallas on Jul 8, 2008 at 09:59 AM
Bryan and CS are not two different cities, they are one. Yes, they have different councils, mayors, city departments etc., etc., but the only thing separating them is a city limits sign. I don't care which side of the city limits sign you reside on you are a part of the same community. If you think the South side of the community's problems don't affect the North side of the community and North side problems don't affect the South side, you are very naive. I would urge you to vote and put pressure on your elected officials to enforce city codes and focus on making conditions undesirable for people that are not self sufficient. You can get rid of thugs by requiring lawns to be kept, prohibiting junk cars and parking in the street, loud music, drinking in public and prohibiting loitering among other things. I have seen this approach used in the section of Dallas where I live and it works. This part of town was bad 10 years ago. Today everyone wants to live here.

one city bashing the other makes no sense at all.there is crime everywhere.i live on west side, work everyday, don't get welfare, or food stamps,or hud. there are good, hard working people in both cities.there are also people who need and get help, and then there are those who simply abuse the system. none of us likes paying their way, but what can we do about it? RANGER TOM: YOU MIGHT SEE WHAT TYPE OF ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU,CAUSE YOU SOUND LIKE YOU ARE SHELL SHOCKED.you are scary.

To Traveled Bryan Slums: Yes, there are less than desirable places to live in Bryan. But CS has them as well. Have you taken your family down Luther St.? I taught in Bryan schools for 28 years. I know what is out there. My point is that some people in CS seem to think that their **** doesn't stink. Well, it does, just as it does everywhere. I don't understand why EVERY story has to end up with CS bashing Bryan. This is so juvenile!

Posted by: Host Location: being fed on by parasites on Jul 7, 2008 at 08:28 PM
The state prison system needs to be given the authority to execute anyone that has been convicted of more than one felony. I will give them one stupid mistake, but these ghetto rats that are making a career out of it serve no purpose whatsoever. These parasites are costing us money.

DB do you need eye glasses I went with a Government surveyor. I looked at for myself. It is not normal to have HUD units from one side of a city to the other. Weeds 5ft high in newer city parks. graveyards so over grown that people do not have any idea that one is there. Like HWY 21 and facing HWY6. It is in Bryan. Get out of the slums you need some help. Drive in Bryan MLK,Sims,Beck,Orleans,Neal rec.area kemp elementary area the Oaks area west side Finfather, Grosebeck S.College Make sure you have your glasses on. Take note of all the houses that have boards on them. Note the ones that fell down and nobody cleaned up. Trash piles in all areas. Almost all the city is this way now. I told my wife about the slums I made her and my kids look at it. She lived in BCS her whole life and was amazed about the ghetto and slums areas Just clueless. I did volunteering in your city I called enforcement on the parks and graveyard. People of Bryan are to lazy and ignorant are high to care.

I work two jobs. One for my family and one that supports people on welfare like in Bryan. Only in Bryan do people think we need volunteering to support their welfare. I always notice people in Bryan want us to donate more to them for a hand out. Want us to wipe your butts too. I'm not volunteering to give my time so you can sit outside in the day time drinking smoking dope and prostituting. I am paying for your Apt, food and medical. Get a Job Bryan.

Posted by: DB Location: Bryan on Jul 7, 2008 at 02:33 PM
What is with all of this Bryan bashing??? Is CS living in a dream world? There is crime everywhere, even in CS. You people that think you are so much better than everyone else need to get a life. Try volunteering. Ranger Tom, I also appreciater your service as I have a son in the military and he has also been to the middle east 6 times. But please, get help if you need it. You sound a bit off center.

"shut up" I was being sarcastic with my comment. Mabey you should read the comments a little better before you post. My point is everyone is quick to point the finger at Bryan and God forbid any crime happen in C.S! Lighten up!

You don't have to tell me how bad Bryan is. I lived there for many years. It started going down the tubes in the early 80's and never recovered. Bryan is a big ghetto and the ghetto rats are coming over to College Station to prey on decent working people and students. Buy a gun if you don't already have one.

If you look in the slums of Bryan you would find bigger fishes then this. This is why DPS uses this area for training new troopers.

To Ty Morrow and the remainder of The Bryan Police Department. Thank you for your hard work. As a citizen of Bryan, I have seen a difference since the BPD has a new chief that has provided direction to the department. I understand that the high crime rate will continue, however, as the BPD becomes more PROACTIVE in the community, life will get better for the citizens of Bryan and crime will decrease, but never go away.

Ranger Tom, I believe there is plenty of counseling available out there for you. It's time to take a step back and get some help. I don't know who you are and what you've done in the past, but if you are a veteran, thank you for all you've done, but there is no need to act out operations in Bryan, TX. There's no need for it.

Posted by: Facts Only Location: CS on Jul 4, 2008 at 08:42 PM
Once again the people of Bryan do not have any facts. Brazos County Sheriffs office has a web-site. Look under jail search. It is the same place KBTX gets the Photos. Look up facts not words.

I would also be pissed off if I lived in Brayn around people like this. I looked up the facts on Brazos county Jail bookings web-site.

Intel: Bryan thugs fear full of the armed armor thunder run into the ghettos of Bryan by local Police have begun fleeing to other areas of Brazos county. Resident fighters in SE.Bryan now called the new marquee have begun counter insurgence runs into the Slums. Intelligence reporting also indicates that thugs and those sympathetic to their cause are a principal threat in Bryan. In recent months, there have been reports of suspicious activity in and around god fearing Bryan residents and workers. The discovery of PCP production in Bryan slums raises the concern of the intelligence community that criminal extremists and supports are planning to follow through on long standing threats of more crime in Bryan and CS. Operation ghetto blaster will increase security at the city borders, strengthen the public sector, enhance security at our critical infrastructure, will aid in making sure all criminal fighting assets can be deployed quickly.

Joe Horn we need you soon on the west side of Bryan. Bring you shotgun also.

Posted by: A forced save area. Location: Bryan on Jul 3, 2008 at 05:53 PM
The drug high people of Bryan need to get some facts and learn to use the Internet. Saying that a person lives in College Station does not make him a resident of College Station. Brazos County Sheriff's dept website indicates that both are fine upstanding Bryan citizens west side. Lay off the booze and drugs and you may learn the truth. This is why a wall is not only needed for College Station but also to divide the west side from the east side of Bryan. For the facts Bryan PD is the one behind the APC Armed attack vehicle not College Station. I do live in Bryan and I did go to college and I do know the facts. I also chase gutter rats back to the west side of Bryan at gun point.

Can someome from College Station please make crimestoppers most wanted next time. The people from Bryan are getting upset. They have to look at this everyday. Reading about it just enhances the situation. But to read about it every day just makes it worse.

Posted by: Garrett Location: College Station on Jul 3, 2008 at 11:10 AM
Pissed & Amy, I agree 100% with you two. The people who complain the most about situations are the ones who do NOTHING to improve the situations.

Looks like we have two runners on the move from Bryan again. One male arrested about 46 times. One female arrested about 3 times. It's now a good time to get the new Bryan Police armed armor assault vehicle ghetto blaster into action. We can recon in force the area north of CS University DR. Suggested areas HUD housing areas of Bryan. Also contact the boy scouts they can check the HEB area of CS. Help is on the way Bryan. Again.

Posted by: Anonymous on Jul 2, 2008 at 09:00 PM
Ck the ghetto and slums areas of Bryan. maybe Heb area of CS. Maybe he is on the 8th hole with tiger woods.
