The final report is out on the explosion in the chemistry building on the Texas A&M campus last month, and inexperience looks to be the culprit.
Investigators said earlier the blast was caused by a nitrogen tank under too much pressure. Now, they say the pressure release valves on that tank had been replaced with caps. That means, as pressure built up inside the tank, there was no way for it to get out.
The chief investigator feels the caps were put on by students who didn't know the tank would eventually explode. But, there is no way to track down who did it.
In the report it's reccommended all students get increased training about the equipment.
