Dozens Have ATM Info Stolen

By: Michelle Peltier

So far, customers of four local banks have been hit. That includes Aggieland Credit Union, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, First National Bank of Bryan, and Wells Fargo Bank.

According to the Vice President at Aggieland Credit Union, police suspect a skimmer may have been used to obtain the information. A skimmer is a device used to capture information from an ATM machine including bank accounts and PIN numbers.

As far as police know, these are the only banks whose debit card customers have been hit. Investigators are urging you to check you bank records, and if you see any irregularities, call your bank, then call police.
