Saddam Trial Taking a Break

It'll be at least two weeks before Saddam Hussein is back in court. His trial was adjourned today after three hours of testimony from three former members of his regime. The judge is ordering the proceedings to resume February 28th.
Today began with another outburst from the former Iraqi leader. Saddam shouted his support for Iraqi insurgents, yelling "Long live the mujahedeen."
He also announced that he and three co-defendents are on a hunger strike to protest the judge in the case.
Prosecutors are trying to prove that Saddam and his seven co-defendants were directly involved in a wave of arrests and executions that followed a 1982 attempt on his life in the Shiite village of Dujail.
