Brazos County commissioners voted Tuesday morning to lift the burn ban. Commissioners said recent rain has lowered the fire risk. The lift may be short lived, however, it will be listed again on next week's meeting agenda. Commissioners will then decide whether or not the burn ban is needed. As you may recall the burn ban was supposed to last until March 6th, but commissioners had the option to lift it if they felt necessary.
