The Montgomery County Sheriff's office is searching for a suspect who reportedly held a convenience store employee at gunpoint late Saturday night, demanding money and cigarettes.
Authorities say the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Shell Convenience Store in the 25000 block of Interstate 45 North at 10:55 p.m. Saturday after a man pointed his handgun at the clerk, demanding the employee fill his blue pillow case with money and cigarettes. The clerk complied and the suspect reportedly fled on foot.
Authorities say they were unable to locate the suspect and are asking for the public's assistance. The suspect is described as a black male, reportedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, grey cloth gloves, and had a white bandanna over his face.
