Documents filed by prosecutors say Andrea Yates advised a fellow inmate how to "beat her case, specifically, to act mentally sick or crazy."
Yates admitted to drowning her five children in 2001. She faces a retrial March 20th in Houston.
Yates again has pleaded innocent by reason of insanity.
