Texas has cut in half to five its list of potential hosts for the world's first near-zero-emissions coal power plant.
Texas wants to be home to the one (B) billion dollar project headed by the Energy Department and a consortium of nine companies.
The finalists are state government councils or planning commissions in the San Antonio area, Central Texas, East Texas, Houston-Galveston and the Permian Basin.
