City Manager Search Narrows

College Station's Interim City Manager is still in the running to hold the position permanently.

The list of five candidates was narrowed down to three late Tuesday night. They are: Interim City Manager Glenn Brown, Pearland City Manger Bill Eisen and former Assistant City Manger Steven Thompson from Virginia Beach, Virginia.

According to Mayor Ron Sylvia, the next step is for the council to receive more information about each of the candidates. The data will be collected by the search committee. A decision on the finalist is expected to be made by the end of March.
