A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect until midnight for Lee County. Strong thunderstorms will continue to be possible, across the Brazos Valley, this evening. Winds in excess of 40-60mph are the main concern, within the strongest activity.Heavy rainfall between 1" and 3" has the potential to cause localized flash flooding in a few locations.
One burn ban is back on here in the Brazos Valley, and another has been lifted.
Tuesday morning Brazos County commissioners decided to reinstate the burn ban, while Grimes County decided to lift theirs.
Brazos County commissioners will continue to list the burn ban on their weekly meeting agenda.
Grimes County commissioners say the burn ban will remain lifted until further notice.
