Willie Davis, the father of Chad and Trey Davis, will remain in jail on a 250-thousand dollar bond.
In a bond hearing Thursday, Davis's lawyers asked for the bond to be reduced to 50-thousand-dollars, while the state asked to raise the bond to 750-thousand-dollars.
85th district judge J.D. Langley denied both requests.
Willie Davis was indicted and arrested last Thursday on capitol murder charges.
He had been out on bond for the past two years, on charges of tampering with evidence.
Davis is accused of driving his two sons across state lines after the murder of Tommy Andrade.
Police believe Chad Davis hired three hit men to get back drug money Andrade owed him.
