A man suspected of defrauding FEMA in the wake of Hurricane Katrina is now in custody. After his story aired on News 3 Thursday, a viewer called in a tip to authorities and David Mosley was arrested.
Grimes County officials arrested Mosley in Bryan. The Texas Attorney General’s office says Mosley claimed he was living in Louisiana when Katrina hit. He then requested food, shelter and clothing from the government.
Mosley will be taken to a federal facility in Houston.
