A Montgomery County woman was arrested after Sheriff's Deputies say she drove over a man in her car, and killed him.

The Sheriff's Office says it happened on West Memorial Street, in Porter.

When deputies arrived they say Tracey Cooley was trapped underneath a Ford Taurus that was being driven by Karen Colson.

Investigators believe Cooley was trying to stop Colson from driving away after she took her medication.

They say Colson intentionally ran the man over.

Cooley was flown by PHI Air Medical to Memorial Herman Hospital where he died.

Karen Colson is charged with murder.

to only the facts: okay well for one if he was trying to keep her away from the drugs why was he helping supply the pills oh and her family too it wouldn't be the first Goad they did this to... Oh and how was he trying to keep her away from the drugs when he just got out of montgomery county himself yeap not just prison but he also went back since then.. so whatever story your getting or hearing or supposedly saw why don't you feel in the blanks and its pretty damn hard to beat someone to the point they are barely regconizable by just pulling them out of a car...

All you people dont know what happened so let me set it straight. First of all she did run him down on purpose. Second she was not beaten she was drug out of the car and hit the ground because she was high centered on top of him and would not stop. She did not get out of the car to help at all she was trying to leave the seen. She had her foot on the gas and would not let up so she was pulled out of the car and held down till the authorites arrived to arrest her. Tracy was good to her and tryed to keep her away from the drugs but she kept going back to her old freinds and they kept feeding them to her. I was a freind of both and no I dont do drugs and just want to state the facts.Unfortunatly there is a 14 yr old boy without a dad becuse of this. She is not the only one that needs to be punished also the ones that gave the pills to her needs to be locked up also and punished. Just wanted to set it straight.

If she was on medication,who was her supplier,they need to be charged also.People should not make commits about what she was on or what happened unless they were there.

To all of you who dont know the real storie about this..She was defending herself..I know that for a fact.... Yes she was on drugs that they keep her on. I am sorry for there loss but ,He is were he needs to be ..He and his nephew beat her to a pulp before it happened,And she was trying to get away thats the truth..Look up her picture on montgomery co. courier paper and you'll see her beated face. Look up Tracy Cooleys criminal record !!!Ya Child Molestor just got out of prison! And bye the way she was only with him because he kept her supplied with pill's ,that pain managment doctors are giving out like candy... If you only new the whole storie about this and the Cooley family..Self defense is what this really is.. The Cooley family has done this to many people in porter tx. , and had ruined many lives..Hope the papers and the news get's more info on the real truth .. Thanks and please stay away from pill's!!!

well whom ever knows so much to say that she was on somas maybe you should tell the rest of the story and how it wasn't intentional and incoherent?? well if she was so incoherent how did she know to try to wake him up and help get the car off the top of him oh by the way did you see the picture of her and how she was beat? well if not look up the montgomery county courier and you tell me what she did to deserve that... oh and since he was such and angel why don't you find out his criminal history since everyone wants to bring up hers. Now we have known the Cooley Family for years and are sorry about their loss but she is in no way a murderer and this was not in anyway intentional and they know this. so you feel free to leave your comments and i feel obligated to tell you the truth.

She was strung out on an overdose of Soma's and completely incoherent. e tried to stop her to keep her from killing herself or others and instead she killed him. I hope she gets what she deserves!

More details please...What kind of medication did this woman take, and what was the relationship between her and the victim? And if she had just taken whatever meds she took,it probably hadn't taken effect,so let the nut case drive away! Crazy people!
