A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect until midnight for Lee County. Strong thunderstorms will continue to be possible, across the Brazos Valley, this evening. Bryan ISD took another step towards their second high school Monday evening.
The school board approved the design development phase of Earl Rudder High School. Architects made some small reductions in space, but ended up keeping classroom size the same.
Those cuts were made to help lower the cost of the project. Preliminary estimates are around $45 million.
Rudder High should open in the fall of 2008.
