A student Bible study group has sued the Plano school district -- alleging religious discrimination.
The suit says Plano ISD stopped them from putting information about their group on the district Web site.
In the suit filed in a Dallas federal court, the group called Students Witnessing Absolute Truth contends the district lets other school clubs put details on the site but refused their group access.
Plano-based Liberty Legal Institute filed the suit on behalf of the students.
Plano ISD officials did not immediately return calls for comment.
The lawsuit is the second religious freedom lawsuit filed against the district. The first was filed on behalf of a student who was prohibited
from distributing religious-themed gifts, including candy canes. That case remains in litigation.
