Officials say one truck rear ended the other, causing it to skid into a ditch.
The other truck jackknifed and caught fire, killing the driver inside.
DPS doesn't know how the other driver was killed, but his body was found next to the burned cab.
Officials are trying to determine whether he was ejected or got out and tried to help the other driver.
The two drivers are Clarence Sweed of Washington and Garl Roberts of College Station.
