Authorities believe the fire that destroyed a chemistry lab at Caldwell High School Friday night was suspicious.
School officials tell News 3 they are fairly certain how the fire started, but are not 100 percent sure and won't speculate.
The fire was contained to the lab, but that particular area was a total loss.
A nearby chemical storage room was protected by a firewall and no chemicals ever caught fire.
There are concerns because the high school building was filled with smoke.
Caldwell ISD trustees will meet Sunday at 2 p.m. to determine what to do about classes.
