A serial burglar may have struck for the last time.

Brazos County Sheriff officials arrested Gregory Howard, 45, of Irving Monday after he allegedly broke into a home off of OSR in Bryan and stole several items including a television and jewelry.

Authorities say they used a vehicle description to track down Howard, and when they pulled him over they found the stolen goods plus a used crack pipe.

Howard has been charged with burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $30,000 bond.

According to police documents, Howard told authorities he and an accomplice committed 20 to 25 burglaries in Brazos County within the last month. Investigators are looking into those claims.
