Third Suspect in CS Robbery Arrested

A third suspect has been arrested in the robbery of a College Station convenience store. Police have not only connected Akeem Powell, 24, to that crime, but another one in the area.

The Somerville resident is believed to be involved in the robbery at Stop and Go on Holleman Sunday night. That's where a clerk was struck by the suspects.

Authorities also believe he went just down the street hours later to the Lexington Apartments where police say he kicked down a door and stole items at gunpoint.

Earlier this week, Rodrick Hemphill and Vance Pullen were arrested in connection to the Stop n Go robbery, but authorities haven't charged these two with the apartment robberies.

The investigation continues.
