Angel Dust Arrest in College Station

A routine traffic stop lands a College Station man behind bars facing felony drug charges.

Just after midnight Wednesday, Quentin Detrell Bennett, 30, was pulled over on Texas Avenue.

That's when officers say they found an ounce of PCP, or Angel Dust.

Authorities say during the arrest, Bennett evaded officers.

He was captured after a short struggle and charged with a first-degree felony for the drug and resisting arrest.

Bennett, who was being held at the College Station jail, was awaiting transfer Wednesday evening to the Brazos County jail.
